I had a few comments about my other wallpaper being a bit soft – as I expected – and I had 30 mins before tonights Kara run, so I decided to update the colors, for those of you wanting something a bit darker.

Goodies for the New Year

As an early Christmas present (more than 2 weeks early) I got my wonderful husband to buy me a 6×8 Intuos3 Special Edition Wacom Tablet. This is exciting because it’s going to make my life so much easier. First of all, I’m left handed, but I do everything (all drawing) with my mouse, using my right hand. It’s easy now, but having only used the tablet a few times, I can see a tremendous advantage.

Also during my break, I finished a couple of other characters. Lady Vashj and a Warlock in Tier 5. I think the next set I want to work on is the Malefic Raiment… and then maybe some undead finally!

I made some stickers for my car and I thought I’d share. They came out pretty good. If you get really close, the colors are a little pixelated on the lock and vw. I think I’ll try printing them myself, rather than outsourcing, and see how that works.

I was turned on to this video today thanks to a co-worker. While at first glance I was impressed, I have to say that there’s nothing that special about using the game’s environment to ‘cheat’ your way to a solo victory. While some may argue against this, d00d clearly jumps up repeatedly, forcing the HH to run all the way around the fence while he drains. Where’s the skill in that, nub?

As some of you may have picked up on in earlier posts, I’ve traded in my best buddy – Thoodhun (super beefy Felguard) – for a new aff/demo spec. I was kind of concerned.. afterall, who would protect this little girl from the backstabbing rogues?

But, I seem to have found a new confidence in being a warlock. Questing is much easier. I’m not dependent on a back-talking muscle-head who forgets his role – I AM NOT TOO PATHETIC TO FIGHT MY OWN BATTLES! So, farewell to you, Felguard.. I’m off to play ~~with~~ by myself.
