We’re running a contest over at LFG: BlizzCon from June 1st to June 30th. Donate to Child’s Play and get a ticket for our virtual raffle.

The winner will receive a badge for BlizzCon 2011 (no swag bag) and a custom character illustration (minitarz). 100% of the proceeds will go to Child’s Play. For more info, including rules, Click Here.

Child’s Play: What Do You Want?

For those who missed out on BlizzCon ‘09, I’ve recently added a Death Knight to my character collection, fully decked out in Darkruned gear. I believe this means the only class I’m actually lacking is Troll. I love you guys. I promise. I’ll be adding more within the next few months as well, which brings me to a very important question.

Which of my characters would you like to see turned into a custom figure?
Think n00bz..and think about the children. I’m planning on custom painting some of my characters for Child’s Play Charity this year. As some of you know, our previous efforts with the Charity Raffle were pretty successful. This “doll” will come packaged with some other awesome goodies which are going to take some time to make, so I’m trying to get a head start. I’ll have more details about packages as we get closer to auction time.

Here’s a scan of the check we’ve sent out to Child’s Play. Thanks again for all of the donations! The total amount (including auctions) of $3,167 can go a long way… like buying 105 $29.99 games.. or 8 xbox 360s.. or 211 $14.99 DVDs.. or helping to pay shipping costs!

Also, I wanted to let you guys know that I’ll be a bit busy the next few days – with illustrations, cooking and, of course, Christmas. Oh – and how could I forget – finally getting to 70. LOL!

Donations of EPIC Proportions

I wanted to give you guys an update on how much money we’ve all raised, because I’m in complete shock over the generosity of everyone. Our total, as of 10 minutes ago, is $12,654.00. That is totally not a typo.

If you look at the Donations page, you’ll noticed that one individual donated $10,000. I wanted to be sure that everyone keeps in mind that, despite the fact that this person has a good majority of the numbers in the raffle, this is for a greater cause, and this remarkable donation is going to help a lot of kids have a better Christmas this year – something a lot of us, including myself, take for granted.

Again, I want to thank every person who donates – even if it’s only $1 – you’re making a huge difference in the lives of many.

A Grand Prize

I want to give a big thanks to all of you that have donated already, both with money or your time. We are nearing the $2000 mark and I think we’ve got just the thing to encourage you to help us surpass this incredible milestone:

Not only are these things valued at over a $100 ($99.95 + $14.95 shipping), they’re extremely exclusive with the only current way to obtain the chance to buy one is by random drawing (or bundled with a $4500 Dell Laptop).

There are some restrictions due to the nature of the prize:
The FigurePrints FAQ indicates that their offering is not yet available for European and Asian realms (sorry guys) but Oceanic realms are fair game. Also, the turnaround time ranges from 30-60 days from the time your order is placed.

The other day I was browsing Etsy, and I came across a wonderful artist who had a magnificent Murloc in his shop. I immediately purchased one of the prints and sent him an e-mail asking if he would be kind enough to donate one of them. Well, he is definitely made of awesome, because he donated three – two of which aren’t even listed!

So, here are the three prints that we are proud to add to the raffle:

ZOMG – there was something else I just had to tell you guys. I’m so excited, I can’t wait until Jon posts. We have a HUGE prize coming up for you. I won’t ruin the surprise, but I will tell you that it is definitely worth a few more raffle ticket purchases. I would get in on this myself if I could (but that wouldn’t be fair).
