Kid Gives Wii for Charity

I know we’ve had a big focus on giving to charity lately and I happened to come across this article over on Infendo.

The 9 year old kid, Brandyn Waterford, donated his very own (brand new) Nintendo Wii to a foster child toy drive. Now I don’t know about you guys, but parting with a brand new Wii is an act of charity that I question whether I’d be able to commit to myself. This kid definitely deserves immense credit for such an extreme showing of generosity.

You might argue that maybe this kid isn’t a gamer, or that he doesn’t really understand the value of money, but despite the fact that this kid’s mother stood in line for hours to obtain said Wii, I have a 9-year old and the $250 price tag is akin to $5000 when you take kidflation into account.
